first of all, before i start sharing my hari raya stories with my beloved readers, let me wish all muslims peeps, selamat hari raya aidilfitri.
to all non-muslim peeps, especially zhu junhan (hahaha), i guess you wanna know how we all celebrate hari raya. it's not normal ordinary visiting your relatives. it's more than that.
first thing on hari raya, the guys will proceed to the mosque and perform their hari raya prayers. usually it's about 8am. when we're at home, the most important event is the moment of seeking of forgiveness to our family members. that is the main priority of hari raya actually. not to have delicious food. not to collect money for the kids. but it's the moment where we seek for forgiveness even to those we don't even meet during the normal days. just like what i did on the 2nd paragraph.
so for me, my 1st day raya was spent together with my dad's side family members. as usual, my family will proceed to my grandma's house located at bedok & all our my relatives will gather there. from there, we will visit those older generation's houses which are my grandma siblings & relatives. but i'm glad for the last house of the day, they all came over to my place. kerohable till 1.30am. haha.
and my 2nd day usually will be for my mum's side. take turns. haha. this time around, we will mostly my mum's siblings' houses & the older generation's houses on the 3rd day raya.
afterall, i have a big family. what can i do. it's fated to be like that. haha. for those who doesn't know me, my dad has 8 other siblings and my mum has another 17 siblings. just imagine how many cousins i have when each family has roughly 3-4 kids in average. haha. but i like! happening raya. =)
oritey, i shall not talk too much. haha. below are all my hari raya pictures so far from friday till sunday. so, view it & enjoy it. cheers!
