i really dont' understand why are there still singaporeans who are racists over matter? these people for sure didn't understand PM Lee National Day Speech asking the nation to be very understanding, helpful and great towards one another regardless of language, race and religion.
but why there is such issue now when sezairi sezali won the singapore idol title? why are there still racism issue being brought upon every single day?
what? just because he is a malay, doesn't mean he got no rights to win the title. if this were to happen, why not create singapore idol for non-malays only? frankly, you all are just frustrated coz there is no non-malays who manage to overcome the challenge thus not being the singapore idol.

i'm non-malay citizen but somehow i support sezairi. he is better in music and it's just like how the malays are better in soccer and the chinese in ping pong. i must agree that when the chinese sang english songs, they somehow have the chinese accent along with the pronounciation unlike the malays and indians. they have better vocally pronounciation.

it's not about malays are better in soccer and chinese in ping pong. it's just that the chinese are more academically forward and well compared to the malays. therefore, you see more malays who didn't do well academically end up in soccer just like our local S League team.

if you don't like sezairi to win, why you don't vote for sylvia instead? why keep on bringing up the issue of being the malay singapore idol? the malays are not rich. in fact the majority and the wealthier group of people in singapore are the chinese. i believe that there are still non-malay who vote for sezairi coz they know what kind of idol they want. just because there is no female idol, that's why you condemn sezairi winning the title?
omg! i really hate this kind of issue being brought up. so childish.
both sezairi and sylvia are good in their own way. it's just how the majority wanna see what kind of idol they more prefer to be. and it seems that the answer takes it all.
